Henry bought 4 pies, which he plans to share with a group of his friends. If there is exactly enough to give each member of the group one-sixth of the pie, how many people are in the group?

There are 24 people on the group.

Explanation:

According to the question, each pie is divided by 6 slices and each slice is given to each person. So we can get the quantity of people by using proportions:

People=
4pies*(6slices)/(1 pie)*(1 person)/(1slice)=24 people

If each person get 1 sixth of the 4 pies, there are 24 people in the group
