(f*g) (-2) = -168

Explanation:

Your "(f9) (-2)" seems to be improperly formed. If you actually meant:

(f*g) (-2), then f(-2) = 28 and g(-2) = - 6, and so:

(f*g) (-2) = 28(-6) = -168
