Multiply and divide number by 1000,


9651* (1000)/(1000)=9.651* 10^3

Power of 10 is 3.

b) Number - 93241

Multiply and divide number by 10000,


93241* (10000)/(10000)=9.3241* 10^4

Power of 10 is 4.

c) Number - 0.003521

Remove decimal and write in terms of multiple of 10 power,


0.003521=(3521)/(1000000)=3.521* 10^(-3)

Power of 10 is -3.

d) Number - 0.000001002

Remove decimal and write in terms of multiple of 10 power,


0.000001002=(1002)/(1000000000)=1.002* 10^(-6)

Power of 10 is -6.
