What is a valid reason for a scientist to reject a scientific theory?

It is too old.

Some people disagree with it.

It covers too broad a topic.

New evidence contradicts it.

A new evidence contradicts it.
A true scientist would never believe anything other that his own work(or any other scientist’s work).
