Answer:

  • The US surgeon general's 1964 report declared that smoking cigarettes was linked to cancer .
  • The average global temperature of the Earth has increased by almost two degrees in the last century.

Step-by-step explanation:

An easy way to differentiate science from pseudoscience is to know that pseudoscience does not have studies to prove it, but science is proven by several scientific and proven studies.

No matter how much you research about a particular pseudoscience and your studies, you will never find anything completely reliable. Many give examples of people who have been cured, such as Homeopathy. However, no study is able to prove that it was precisely the medicine that made the effect, and not the psychological or other factors not taken into account in the study. Every science is proven with countless studies! Medicines have more than concrete evidence that they work.

We can all believe in pseudoscience, as it can only be misunderstood. No one is the owner of the truth. The important thing is to keep in mind that you believe in something that is not proven, so you cannot defend it with valid arguments.
