2(3x-1)=5-(x+3)

6x-2=5-x-3

6x-2=5-3-x

6x-2=2-x

Add x to both sides

6x+x-2=2

Combine like terms

7x-2=2

Add 2 to both sides

7x=4

Divide both sides by 7

x=4/7

Hope this helps!
