According to sociologist people portray or posses two behaviours the one that they portray at the "front stage which is more professional , polished and right .
In the front stage we have to live up to what is expected of us and according to the societal standards of living and this is usually defined by the surrounding environment and people at that moment which will define how we act or dress up.
We do this purposefully and driven by the aim to look a certain way as we internal know what is expected; sometimes we do this without noticing or by retrieving all the information we have learnt about social behaviour amongst particular type of people.
At work with our colleagues the front stage takes place or whilst riding a bus with people we don't have much close relationship with , a front stage takes its place in us.
In the front stage we are always aware of how people view us .
They also have a behaviour that they show at the backstage where they Re alone or with the people they are more comfortable with for example close friends and family members.
With the back region we can be laid back and be our original self what ever that self is because the setting allows us to be more free and comfortable.
Ashley is more in the front region behaviour when she meets Leah's family because she isn't too close to them so she has to behave in different way than when she is with Leah who is her best friend and is more comfortable around her and can be in a back region behaviour.
