m= y2-y1

m= y2-y1 x2-x1

Explanation:

slope= m

if you are given 2 points then this is the formula to find the slope

m= y2-y1 plug in the numbers and

x2-x1 divide & that is your slope

The slope of a line is the change in Y over the change in X.

Find two points on the line, which are written as (X, Y), then subtract the X values from each other and the Y values from each other:

One point would be (X1,Y1) and the other point would be (X2,Y2)

Then find the slope as: (Y2 - Y1) / (X2 - X1)
