1) You would use 2 "dots" or points on the number line because it telling you which two points -5+2 is in between.

2) The points would be on -10 and -8 because when the inequality is simplified it becomes -10
\leq x < -8.

3) The dot on -10 would be closed because it is saying x is greater than or equal to -10. The dot on -8 is open because it is just saying x is less than -8.

4) You shade the are between the two point ("dots") because the inequality is telling you that x is greater than -10, but less than -8.
