For sure not the graph you attached to your question, since although the general features at infinity (when x grows in absolute value) and the vertical asymptote at x=0 are not that different from the only graph you show, there are some important details that tell you this is not the correct graph:

For example, the graph of the function f(x) = 4/x for sure should show a value of "1" (one) when x is 4 :


f(4) = (4)/(4) = 1

It should also give a value of "-1" (negative one) when x is -4.


f(-4) = (4)/(-4) = -1

This is NOT true in the graph you attached to this question.

Please see the appropriate graph you should be looking for in the image I am attaching to this answer. And notice the value you should be able to extract from the graph when x equals 4 for example.
