Explanation:

1. It is adding 6 each time.

2. It adds 2, then 4, then 6, each time adding an extra 2 units. (another way to explain is, the original term, 2, that they add is multiplied by 2 each time)

3. It multiplies by -2 each time.

4. It adds 16, then 8, then 4, dividing the term that is added by 2 each time.
