Answer:

Ball is thrown with a velocity of 26.5631 m/sec

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given maximum height of the ball h = 36 m

At maximum height velocity will be zero so final velocity v = 0 m/sec

We have to find the velocity through ball is thrown means initial velocity u

As ball is thrown upward and acceleration due to gravity is downward means its opposes the motion

So
g=-9.8m/sec^2

From third equation of motion we know that
v^2=u^2+2gh

0^2=u^2-2* 9.8* 36

u^2=705.6

u = 26.5631 m/sec

So ball is thrown with a velocity of 26.5631 m/sec
