Answer:

16 = small

74 = big

Explanation:

4x+10 = big angle

x = small angle

4x+10+x = 90

5x+10 = 90

5x = 80

x = 16

4 x 16 + 10 = 74

Answer:

y=16^(\circ),x=74^(\circ)

Explanation:

Let complementary angles are x and y.

Let x is larger angle between x and y.

We have to find the measure of both angles x and y.

According to question

x=4y+10

We know that complementary angles :Two angles whose sum is 90 degrees.

x+y=90^(\circ)

4y+10+y=90

5y=90-10=80

y=(80)/(5)=16^(\circ)

Substitute the value then we get

x=4(16)+10=74^(\circ)
