One group in this week’s lab designed an experiment in which they placed a different sugar in each test tube. They then incubated each test tube at a different temperature and then used a tape measure to quantify the size of the balloons after 30 minutes. Explain what is wrong with this experimental design.

Answer:

That all the test tubes act as a sampler

Step-by-step explanation:

In an experiment there need to be always a variable that can be manipulated, in this case could be different temperatures, different time, different quantities of sugar, etc.

But it is no mention any change in the manipulated variable, that is the reason why no difference on the results will be expected.
