Any point in coordinate system has a x-coordinate and a y-coordinate. In coordinate system any point p will be represented as
p(x-coordinate, y-coordinate).

Any three points in coordinate system will lie on the same horizontal line if they have same values for their y-coordinate. While the values for x-coordinate for these points should be different.
