No, Multiplication does not always makes number bigger. When number is Multiplied by any number less than 1 the magnitude of the number decreases. Also any number multiplied by a negative number also reduces the number,

Example 5×2= 10 and 5×0.2= 1 clearly , 1<5

also, 5×(-2) = -10 which is also less than 5.
