41 is not divisible by any number other than 1 and itself so it is prime and not composite and obviously 41 is a whole number so BCD are eliminated

Since we know that 8x5= 40 and 8x6= 48, it is not a prime number.

And even if you divide any number by 41, you won't get a whole number answer. So that is why 41 is a prime number.
