17/3 - 15/4 = 1 + 2/3 +3/4

1.916667 ≠ 2.416667

(17)/(3) -(15)/(4) = (68-45)/(12) = (23)/(12)

now solving RHS


1+(2)/(3)+(3)/(4)=(12+8+9)/(12)=(29)/(12)

clearly, LHS≠ RHS

hence both quantities are different from each other.
