The formula E= mgh, where E = gravitational potential energy, m = mass, g = gravity, and h = height, is used to calculate gravitational potential energy. Solve this formula for h.

You just need to divide both sides by mg:

E=mgh \iff (E)/(mg) = (mgh)/(mg)

This simplifies mg on the right side:

(E)/(mg)=h

thus solving the equation for h

Answer:

h = E/mg

Explanation:

When we want to find out the multiplier, we should devide the product by the others known factors
