$(3x - 6)/((3x - 6 )+ 12) = (10)/(18) \\ (3x - 6)/(3x + 6) = (5)/(9) \\ by \: cross \: multiply \: we \: get \\ 27x - 54 = 15x + 30 \\ 12x = 84 \\ \boxed{x = 7}$
