Answer:

The price of an adult ticket is $7 and the price of a child ticket is $7

Explanation:

Let

x -----> the price of an adult ticket

y ----> the price of a child ticket

we know that

First day

6x+8y=98 -----> equation A

Second day

2x+8y=70 ----> equation B

Subtract equation B from equation A and solve for x

6x+8y=98\\2x+8y=70\\---------\\6x-2x=98-70\\4x=28\\x=7

Find the value of y

2x+8y=70

substitute the value of x

2(7)+8y=70

14+8y=70

8y=70-14

8y=56

y=7

therefore

The price of an adult ticket is $7 and the price of a child ticket is $7
