Answer:

cos(45) * 28 = 14√2 or 19.8

Explanation:

You have the hypotenuse and you want to find the adjacent side b. Out of Soh, CaH and ToA, you know it is CaH because you want the adjacent and have the Hypotenuse (a and H).

If you put CaH into a triangle and cover up the A, you will see that it would be C * H. If you put that into a calculator and substitute in the values you get cos(45) * 28 = 14√2

I think you use cos. I haven’t taken trigonometry but I know a little bit about it.
