One is very famous, "I Have a Dream"

by Martin Luther King Jr. The other was given in the 90's by a man named Elie
Wiesel. He is a writer and a survivor of one of Hitler's most brutal death camps
He wrote a book called Night about his experiences. This speech is profound and
moving and will change your life.
You will choose one of these speeches to analyze. You will need to discuss
examples of Ethos, Pathos and Logos. You may not find all three, but find at
least two to three examples of two of these devices. For each, explain your
choice.
You will also discuss whether you find examples of rhetorical devices like
figurative language, repetition, parallel structure, rhetorical questions, and
others. List those you find and provide examples from the speech. Discuss how
these devices strengthen the message given.
Finally, you will look for examples of any logical fallacies used in your chosen
speech. Discuss each fallacy you find and how it affects the speech.
