When a dispute flares up and conflict resolution required, the outcomes can be sadly predictable. The conflicts escalate with both sides blaming the others in increasingly strident terms. The dispute may end up in litigation and relationship may be forever damaged.

  • Don't abandon value-creating strategies
  • Use time to your advantage

Negotiations may use many moves to question each other legitimacy and assert their power. The obscure of negotiation that takes place under the surface and helps to explain why discussion of detailed clearly rational issues can lead to an angry outbreak, hurt feelings, and simmering conflicts.
