so the radius is
r=D/2=3inches/2=1.5 inches

volume for cylinder is:


V=\pi r^2h


V= (3.14)(1.5)^2(6)


V= 42.39 inch^3

volume for cone is :


V=1/3 \pi r^2h


V= 1/3(3.14)(1.5)^2(2)


V=4.71 inch^3

so the total volume of the bird feeder would be:
