Answer: Is not A. Its B.

Explanation:

I chose A and it is wrong. I would choose B.

400 * 0.5 = 200

400 * 0.25 = 100

Hey!

-------------------------------------------------

We Know That:

1 inch = 40 miles

200 / 4 = 5

200mi. = 5 x 40mi. (5 x 1mi on scale)

-------------------------------------------------

Solution:

40 / 4 = 10 (not to scale)

1 / 4 = 0.25 (error to scale)

If the scale is 0.25 then it's half way while rounding.

-------------------------------------------------

Answer:

\large\boxed{B.~0.5~in.}

-------------------------------------------------

Hope This Helped! Good Luck!
