Also, Raleigh traveled twice to Guiana, or Guyana, where he fought against the Spaniards and local indigenous people. He disputed several posseions with Spain in Trinidad and across the Orinoco River. Raleigh even reached the northernmost part of Colombia.

Latter, during the reign of James VI and I, Raleigh was imprisoned and latter executed.
