x = -8 and x = -11

Explanation:

I believe that to solve this equation using the zero product property you should do this:

(x + 8) (x + 11) = 0

(x + 8) = 0

x = -8

(x + 11) = 0

x = -11

This means that y = 0 when x is -8 and -11. If you need to graph it, the parabola should go through points (-8, 0) and (-11, 0).

(I'm not 100% sure if you graph it as a parabola or two lines. I believe it is a parabola though. Sorry! It's been a while since I've done this type of math!)
