Answer:

The value of x is 28.

The value of y is 32.

Explanation:

Given : Equation 1 -
(3)/(4)(x-12)=12

Equation 2 -
(3)/(4)y-12=12

To find : Solve each equation ?

Solution :

Equation 1 -
(3)/(4)(x-12)=12

Apply distributive property,
a(b-c)=ab-ac

(3)/(4)x-(3)/(4)* 12=12

(3)/(4)x-3* 3=12

(3)/(4)x-9=12

(3)/(4)x=12+9

(3)/(4)x=21

x=(21* 4)/(3)

x=28

Equation 2 -
(3)/(4)y-12=12

Add 12 both side,

(3)/(4)y-12+12=12+12

(3)/(4)y=24

y=(24* 4)/(3)

y=32

The value of x is 28.

The value of y is 32.
