Base of prism is made from length and width

Perimeter of base =2(l+w)

Area of base=lw=Area of top

Surface area of prism=Perimeter of base multiply by height+2 area of base

Because area of base and area of top are equal.

Surface area of prism=Ph+2B=2(l+w)h+2(lw)
