The first statement reflects the labor union’s point of view; this is because workers should have the right to work in a safe and secure environment. If the situation is not favorable, it is their responsibility to raise a question for the protection of their life. There is nowhere in the labor union activities that states that unskilled workers should be poorly paid. Thus the statement does not apply in the labor union activities. The cost of replacing worked who are skilled will indeed be high that the labor wages because it will be challenging to acquire works with same skills.
