Explain what happens to the gravitational force between two objects if

(a) The mass of one object is doubled,

(b) The distance between the object is tripled.

1) As Force is directly proportional to the mass of each object, the force will be doubled.

2) distance is doubled, Force will become 1/4th as Force is inversely proportional to the square of distance.

d is tripled. Force will become 1/9th as force is inversely proportional to the square of distance
