HELP HURRY On the table below, record your observations before and after the interactions and note if mass was conserved.

Describe the changes in properties that prove a chemical reaction occurred. The first row is an example.
Observations Before Interaction Observations After Interaction Was Mass Conserved? Proof of a Chemical Reaction Example: Sugar + Heat The sugar is in tiny white particles in a pile. Heat is not seen but is implied by the heat source.

The pile of sugar in the pot weighs 100 grams. There is a solid, light brown mass at the bottom of the pot. It weighs 100 grams.

Yes, both the reactants and the products weigh the same. There was not a chemical reaction. Sugar did not change composition. It only melted.

Melting point is a physical property, and this is a physical change.

Answer:

Sodium hydroxide is a turbid solution and copper sulfate is in form of bright blue crystals. When their solutions are mixed with each other, a pale blue precipitate of basic copper hydroxide & a solution of neutral salt sodium sulfate will be formed. The proof of the reaction is the appearance of pale blue precipitates of of basic copper hydroxide & a solution of neutral salt sodium sulfate.

Hope This Helps!!!

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Steel Wool + Oxygen (Fire)

You have 6 grams of steel wool and 1 gram of oxygen

7 grams of iron oxide

Yes they do weigh the same because 6+1=7

A chemical change was made because the steel wool did not look the same as it did when it finished

Egg + Heat

You have 45 grams of egg and 0 grams of heat

41 grams of cooked egg and 4 grams of cracked egg shell

Yes they do weigh the same because 45=45 and 41+4=45

A chemical change was made because the egg shell cracked open and was cooked .

Water + Heat

You have 75 grams of water and 0 grams of heat

75 grams of gas or steam

Yes they weigh the same because they are both 75 grams

A chemical change was made because the water + the heat turned into steam.

Zinc + Hydrogen Chloride

You have zinc which is 10 grams and hydrogen Chloride which is 5 grams

Zinc Chloride 12 grams and Hydrogen gas 3 grams released

Yes they weigh the same because 10 +5 =15 and 13+3=15

Yes a chemical change was made because the rock was dissolving in the hydrogen gas.
