Answer:
When the military takes over government, violence often follows
Step-by-step explanation:
West Africa is one of the most troublesome regions in the world when it comes to politics. Pretty much every country has been under the rule of a dictator or very bad rulers so far. This has also very often prompted a reaction form powerful military generals and the military.
The reactions in general have been in the form of taking over the government by force, and killing or banishing the ruler. When this happens though, the things are far from settled, on the contrary, violence often erupts. The reason behind this is that some of the people support the military, while others the ruler that has been taken down, so clashes between the two fractions result in chaos and lot of violence. The military also gets involved and usually tries to eliminate everyone that is not supporting it.
