Explanation:

let (-2,4)=(x1,y1)

given eqn: y=4x+11

comparing with y=mx+c

slope (m)=4

now using point and slope form,

(y-y1)=m (x-x1)

(y-4)=4 (x+2)

y-4=4x+8

4x-y+12=0 is required eqn.

Answer:

slope: 4

y - 4 = 4(x + 2)

y - 4 = 4x + 8

y = 4x + 12
