First find the area of triangle and then rectangle .



Triangle area:
1/2*base*height


Rectangle:
Lengh*breadth

Answer:

Total Area= 115 cm²

Explanation:

1) The area of a rectangle is base times height!

Area A= 7 * 10 = 70

2) The area of the triangle is a bit more tricky! The formula is Half of the base times the height!

Area B= 1/2 * 6 * 15 = 45

We can find the BASE of the triangle by doing 10-4! (6)

We can find the HEIGHT of the triangle by doing 22-7! (15)

3) Total Area is just adding the two together!

Total Area= Area A + Area B = 45 + 70

4) The Total area is 115 cm²!

Total Area= 115 cm²
