To replace a failing processor we will be needing

1. New processor

2. Thermal compound

3. Cooling Fan

Main causes of processor failure are Stress,Overheating,Overload,Power Surge, Motherboard fault and Aging.

To replace our failing CPU we be needing a new CPU compatible with the current motherboard. If it's not compatible it won't work. Motherboard compatibility lists are provided on mother board vendor website.

Heat sink is required to transfer heat away from CPU to keep it cool.
