Now, putting x = 0 and y = -4 :

`c = -4`

Also, putting x = 1 and y = -3 :

Also, putting x = 2 and y = 0 :

`ax^2 + bx + c =y\\\\4a + 2b + c = 0\\\\4a + 2b = 4\\\\2a - b = 2`....3)

Solving equation 2 and 3, we get :

a = 1 and b = 0

Therefore, the quadratic equation is given by
`y = x^2- 4` .
