Después de dos exámenes, conseguí mi (1)licencia de conducir para poder manejar legalmente por primera vez. Estaba muy emocionado cuando (2)subí al carro de mi papá. El tanque estaba (3)lleno , el (4)aceite lo revisaron el día anterior (previous) en el (5)taller mecánico . El carro y yo estábamos listos para (6)arrancar. Primero salí por la (7)calle en donde está mi casa. Luego llegué a un área de la ciudad donde había mucha gente y también mucho (8)tráfico. Se me olvidó (9)parar en el semáforo, que estaba amarillo, y estuve cerca de tener un (10)accidente.

After two exams, I got my driver's license to be able to drive legally for the first time. I was very excited when I got into my dad's car. The tank was full, the oil was checked the previous day in the mechanical workshop. The car and I were ready to start. First I went down the street where my house is. Then I came to an area of the city where there were a lot of people and also a lot of traffic. I forgot to stop at the traffic light, which was yellow, and I was close to having an accident.
