I need y'alls opinion- I have to write a short piece on early developing American culture and do you think that I will be lectured and/or punished if I use terms like "bigots" or "white- washed" because it is supposed to be opinionated about whether it was a land of equality and opportunity or not?? I wanna be honest but how far is too far with my mostly white- mostly Christian school?- Also would you like to see it when its done/ the response?

no, it's honest and as long as you aren't using profanity and your facts are accurate, there should be no issue with it :) best of luck! I also think it's very brave of you to use terms like that, it's the truth and a lot of kids wouldn't have the nerve to speak on issues like that.
