Opposite angles of two intersecting lines are equal.

So the angle opposite the 100 degree angle on line c is also 100.

Since a, b, and c are all parallel, the angles made by the intersecting line r, are also all equal (these are corresponding angles).

So 5x + 15 = 100

5x = 85

x = 17

Second picture

Adjacent angles add up to 180 degrees. So the angle opposite 52 is 180-52=128.
