{ \qquad\qquad\huge\underline{{\sf Answer}}}

Here we go ~

Let's equate the function with 0 to find its roots :

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: \frac{ {x}^(2) - 9 }{2 + x} = 0

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: {x}^(2) - 9 = 0

[ assuming x is not equal to -2, as it isn't defined on -2 ]

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:(x + 3)(x - 3) = 0

so, the required roots are : -3 and 3
