Explanation:

We can use our binomial model equation with all the relevant information to solve this problem simply. We just need to dissect the problem a bit to find relevant information. We know that out of 16 batteries in a pack (the number of trials in this case) we want to find the possibility of 1 of them (the number of successes) to be defective with a defective rate of 5% or 0.05.
