The given system of linear equations :-


x+3y=6-----------------(1)\\\\2x+4y=12--------------(2)

Multiply 2 on both sides in the first equation , we get


2x+6y=12--------------------(3)

Eliminate equation (2) from equation (3), we get


2y=0\\\\\Rightarrow\ y=0

Put value of y=0 in equation (1), we get


x=6

Hence, the solution of the system = (x,y)=(6,0)
