Ok so first you would have to distribute the first side (left of the equal sign) So you would get 5+10m. Then do the next side 1/2 times 8 equals 4 and 1/2 times 20 m. Which is 10m. So 4+10m and 5+10m there for it would be false. They do not equal the same.

5( 1 + 2m) = 1/2( 8 + 20m)

5 + 10m = 4 + 10m

5 = 4

There are no solutions
