flowers she'd need for 7 bouquets. She determined she'd need
175 flowers. How many flowers were in each bouquet?​

Since 175 is the amount of flowers in total, 175 = Y.

This means KX has to be the number of bouquets times the amount of flowers per bouquet.

Plug the 7 in for K.

This makes your equation:


175 = 7x

Solve by diving both sides by 7.

This will get x by itself.


(175)/(7) = (7x)/(7)

You should come up with:


25 = x

Your answer is 25 flowers per bouquet.
