What is the reciprocal, or multiplicative inverse, of −12?

The answer to your question is -0.083.

Convert -12 into a fraction (-12/1) and then flip the positions of 1 and -12, now we have (-1/12), convert -1/12 into a decimal and you get -0.083.

-24 because when you reciprocal the number it should be 24
