y = 2x + 1

Explanation:

The gradient of line A is

(-6-(-2))/(0-2)=2

Parallel lines have the same gradient, so m = 2.

Substituting the coordinates of P into y = mx + c,

$7=3(2)+c \implies c=1 \implies y=2x+1$
