The standard form of
\bold{\text { 1. } 4455 * 10^(3) \text { is } 1445.5}.

Solution:

To write
1.4455 * 10^(3) in standard form ,

Expand the exponent term
10^(3) and multiply with 1.4455.

Expanding
10^(3)

Here 10 is the base term and 3 is exponent value. Since the exponent value is 3 , base term 10 is multiplied by itself three times.

10^(3)=10 * 10 * 10=1000

Multiply 1.4455 with 1000,

\Rightarrow 1.4455 * 1000=1445.5000=1445.5(\text { standard form })

When multiplying with 1000, only the position of decimal point changes.
