Explanation:

Lets start with the original price of the tickets.

£12 x 6 = £72

£6 x 3 = £18

£18 + £72 = £90

So now we know the tickets would have cost £90.

We now have to work out how much 10% is.

To do that, we have to divide by 10

90 / 10 = 9

10% = £9

Add that the the ticket cost.

£90 + £9 = £99.

Then we have the 2% for the credit card.

To get 2%, we first have to find 1%, which is found by dividing by 100

90 / 100 = 0.9

1% = 0.90

0.9 x 2 = 1.8

2% = 1.80

Add that to the previous total and there's your answer.

£99 + £1.80 = £100.80
